What is Nirvana?
(Also the Sabbath of the Jews, when read with the right understanding.)
NIRVÂṆA निर्वन is an ancient Sanskrit word and means "wiped out", this translation led many, especially Buddhists, to the misconception that the man should be extinguished in NIRVÂṆA.. But in reality only its lower aspects are wiped. His essence, his real self, survives and persists. As long as man has not yet developed higher values ,corresponding to its immortal nature, is nothing (for him knowable) there, which can survive, and so he has to experience painfully again and again life and death. Incarnation to incarnation. Until the Mâyâ or illusion is broken and he can be of God, he always was. Oh Lanoo, NIRVÂṆA is our true home. You are not the body, you have only one such. The body is necessary as a diver's suit, if you're under water. Without this diving suit you could not exist for some time under water .Also you can not exist without your physical body in this world. But once you're out of the water, you put your diving suit off again. Are you stopping to exist? Well of course nit at all. You are still you, but without a diving suit. After the death you're still you, but without the physical body. Furthermore, if you've taken off the diving suit, you exist only really for on land (in this world) is your true existence. Your stay under water was only an artificial and is only possible with the help of the divers suit. So is the difference between life and NIRVÂṆA..
You can only enter NIRVÂṆA, if you've not only put off the physical body, but with it all you binding to this world sense. You might argue: It happens anyway, if I die, so I put off my physical body and then come automatically into NIRVÂṆA. Not quite. The thirst, the desire to the world throw you after a period of gradual purification of this request, * and then the rest in other worlds (precursors of NIRVÂṆA) repeatedly material back into life. And the wheel of life or suffering begins for you to turn back from the front. An old proverb says: "Beautiful is God's earth and worth it to be cheerful. Therefore I will until I am ashes, I rejoice this beautiful earth. "
The joy in the pleasures and beauties of the world is connected to many with the attitude, "Basically, I believe neither in God nor the devil, neither in heaven nor in hell. I am here now and after me the deluge.
If this were really so, then would be the one who enjoys life only, completely right. Because what's the big philosophizing, if life is a one time thing, begins with the birth and ends with the Dead? I'm just not something eternal. I'm just someone who was born, lives and dies and that's it. I am not an immortal soul, but a finite, mortal, corruptible man, and now I let me my rest. Someone one may argue that the whole is too esoteric or incomprehensible. How can one answer such a person? And we have to answer him when we do not want to join him or his opinion. Many so-called spiritual people waving from here and say: " He has not get it yet. " Such an answer, however, is absolutely unsatisfactory and serve more the mortality than the doctrine of immortality.
Here is a way of reply to the assertion that man is mortal and transitory, and ergo not immortal and imperishable: If the true nature of man would be perishable, then this transience and mortality completely would be to him natural and familiar, then he would not even perceive it, and much less suffer. Then it would be quite naturally for him to be born, to live and die. But man is afraid, however, he likes to admit it or not, before death, because our true nature, which is just immortal and unborn, and therefore can not die. The true nature of man is "without father, without mother, without origin, without beginning or end" (Heb. 7:3). Einstein was right, time plays a role in this three dimensional world. We have fallen from a state of timelessness in time. We are the "fallen angels".
Thus, it is the immortal, the eternal, the immortal in us, making life and death so painful, because making us feel ephemeral. To die is against our true nature. The immortal God suffers in us. How and why we were expelled from Paradise as "fallen angels" and how we can attain our immortality back, is revealed in the book “The Meaning of Life” by Christian Anders / Lanoo. "Man, know thyself," stands at the entrance at the ancient places of Greece. This is precisely the meaning of life. The world in which we live is the "forbidden fruit" of which we taste again and again and which is disappointing us again and again, until we realize our true nature and our true home, which is called NIRVÂṆA.
